The app can also send an SMS alert to a buddy's mobile number saying that the SIM has been changed. WaveSecure can even pinpoint the whereabouts of your stolen mobile, tracking the current location and displaying it on a map.

The one doubt we had about WaveSecure was over the strength of the password needed to access all the features. It's only a six-digit password, which means it could be relatively easy for someone to guess. If someone gained access to your account it would allow them to see exactly where you are, view all your contacts, lock your phone, or delete all your data. So make sure you don't use an easily guessable code, like your date of birth, or part of your phone number.
Security paranoia aside, WaveSecure is an excellent mobile security application that will save a lot of headache next time your phone gets lost or has been stolen.
